Chiquis The Dreamer Clown won the Gold Medal for Best Children's Picture Book Translation Spanish to English at the 2026 International Latino Book Awards. The Spanish version, Chiquis la payasa soñadora, received an Honorable Mention for the Alma Flor Ada Best Latino-Focused Children's Picture Book Award category.
